Problem Framing

The Problem:
Panasonic had great technology, but the Personal Care brand was hidden behind an outdated industrial look. The brand just didn’t have the emotional appeal or premium feel, which is needed to stand out in today’s lifestyle and beauty market.

Creative Process

Step 1: Research & Analysis
I analyzed the modern minimalism trend in the wellness sector, realizing we need to shift from feature-heavy designs to benefit-driven storytelling.

Step 2: Ideation & Moodboard
I established a quiet luxury aesthetic through muted tones and high-end textures.
Step 3: Branding & Prototyping
I created interactive prototypes to validate real-world functionality, prioritizing a clean, user-friendly layout with intuitive icons and visuals that enable users to grasp key product features at a glance before launch.

Step 4: Execution
I built a cohesive design system centered on clean typography and bespoke iconography, translating key products and features—including Multishape, Palm Shaver, the Arc3 series, and Nanoe™—into refined minimalist vector motifs that reinforce a premium brand voice.
Through precise art direction and a cohesive design system, I defined a modern aesthetic and minimalism to elevate the digital brand experience of the Panasonic Multishape men's shaver. Combining visual storytelling, intuitive iconography, and a structured grid, the project highlights key product features and accessories through engaging photography and clean, user-friendly layouts.

Crafted a modern promo image for an electric Hammer Shaver ES-RM3B, emphasizing comfort, rechargeable battery, multi-mode use, and accessories. I contributed as the graphic designer.

Designed visuals for a compact, handheld electric Palm Shaver, highlighting its portability, sleek design, and USB charging. My role focused on graphic design.

Facing a sharp sales decline during the COVID-19 pandemic as daily grooming routines were neglected as people stayed indoors, we pivoted our strategy from simple product utility to inspiring new home hobbies, self-care rituals, and turning the device into a collectible item that users would want to own. As the lead graphic designer and art director, I developed the cohesive design system for the Star Wars × Panasonic collaboration, applying a sophisticated aesthetic that merges modern minimalism with iconic film imagery. Crafting an intuitive user journey with bespoke iconography, I established a powerful brand voice and an immersive digital brand experience that transformed a challenging period into an opportunity for creative storytelling.

Applying my core skills in graphic design and art direction, I defined the visual direction for the high-end hair dryer product page. My creative strategy was to blend technical precision with quiet luxury and modern minimalism, establishing a sophisticated brand voice through the design system. I curated the high-impact imagery, balancing detailed product imageries with immersive lifestyle photography, all polished with expert photo retouching. The entire digital brand experience was built on a precise grid system that harmonizes custom iconography and refined typography, resulting in a clean, engaging, and intuitive layout for the website design.

Created a clean, modern product page for the BikiniTrimmer (ES-WV62), showcasing multiple angles, key features, and lifestyle shots. My role was graphic designer, ensuring clarity and style.
